DIGITAL DESIGN CONTEST

 

 

 

 

     The Contest runs from January 10 through February 3, 2015. All entries must be emailed,  no later than Saturday, January 31, 2015.

•   Entries submitted after February 5, 2015 will not be accepted. Winners will be announced on February 8 at the HOPE FEST 2015.

• The winners will also be notified by email on or about February 8, 2015 and will be subsequently announced on the contest’s website(name, college and department only).

• The posters will be judged on the following criteria:       

 Inclusion and relevance of the theme – “Fight Cancer”        

 

                        Creativity and originality                                                           35%

 

                        Visual clarity and appeal                                                           30%

 

• The entries will be judged by a panel of judges and the panel’s decision is final.

 

 

 

 

Rules & Regulations for Digital Poster contest:

 

The following rules and regulations apply to both English and Tamil language entries.

 

1. Students are allowed to submit any number of original poster entries, however, you may not submit the same entry more than once.

 

2. Please design the poster at 300 dpi (CMYK), at 50 x 70cm (2953 x 4134 pixels) or greater BUT send it to us at 72 dpi (RGB) format,

and JPEG or PDF format.Orientation:Vertical only

 

3. Any artwork on the poster must be original and unpublished work that you have created and does not include material in which a

third party has intellectual property rights 

4. Poster designs containing clip art and downloaded brushes will not be considered by the judges.

5. The poster must be related to the given theme.

6. Do not publish your submitted poster art on Facebook or other social media until after the winners are announced.

7. Please do not enter promotional or advertising poster in the contest, these will not be accepted.

8. Each entry must not, in the sole discretion of the judging panel, be obscene, indecent, offensive, violent, hateful or defamatory,or contain any other content otherwise inconsistent with the theme of the digital poster contest as described in the above rules and regulations and related materials.
